WOMEN APPRECIATION

   

    In the Philippines, the Women’s Month Celebration has since served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments. The celebration focuses on concrete activities that are aligned with national and international instruments and treaties such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, the Beijing Platform for Action, the Philippine Plan for Gender-Responsive Development (1995-2025), the Framework Plan for Women, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

   Women's contributions can be found in all areas, including science, politics, art and culture, business, sports and entertainment. Women are often marginalized in society because they are not seen as leaders or powerful figures. However, this does not mean that they do not make an important contribution to our lives or our world.

    Women play an important role in society through their work at home as well as their contributions outside of the home sphere. A woman may choose to stay at home with her children while her husband works outside the home; this is an example of how women contribute through their work at home as well as their contributions outside of it. A woman may also choose to work outside the home but still remain involved with family life by taking care of children or elderly relatives who need assistance.

    Moreover, the fact that women have been excluded from leadership positions throughout history has meant that many people do not see what they contribute when it comes time for them. however, our generation can change it now. No matter what a woman choose to do in her life, people must learn to appreciate what she really wants to do.
